EDITORS' AIM

Interdisciplinary Journal of Digital Humanities and Ubiquitous Scholarship is a leading interdisciplinary Journal for research and writing drawing upon contemporary debates and intellectual practices from digital humanities and technology-aided learning. Through the application of computational methods, data analysis, and digital tools, we bridge the gap between the analogue past and the digital future not only in humanities but across streams and disciplines. IJDUS is a testament to the idea that Digital Humanities is not just about numbers and algorithms but a creative endeavour that inspires fresh insights into the intricacies of the human experience and expressions. IJDUS aims to provide a platform for scholars to showcase their research and foster a community that shares a passion for exploring the realms of pedagogy, literature, art, history, language, philosophy, culture and environment among others, through a digital lens.

Furthermore, in today's rapidly evolving digital landscape, the world of scholarship and education in all disciplines and streams is undergoing a profound transformation. At the heart of this transformation is the concept of ubiquitous technology-aided and self-paced scholarship, a phenomenon that has the potential to redefine how we acquire knowledge and engage with academic pursuits. Our mission is to uncover the innovative ways in which technology is revolutionizing scholarship and education. Through a collection of research articles and case studies, and thought-provoking discussions, IJDUS aims to inspire, inform, and empower both educators and learners alike. We invite you to join us in exploring topics such as online learning platforms, mobile apps, virtual reality, artificial intelligence, and more, as they intersect with self-directed learning.

As we navigate the uncharted territory of digital humanities and ubiquitous scholarship, we recognize that the journey is as important as the destination. Together, let us embark on this intellectual adventure, embracing the limitless potential of technology to democratize knowledge and make scholarship accessible to all.
